Admission
to the University of South Carolina Graduate School
Two categories
of graduate admission are available to meet your needs.
A. If you are
seeking to earn a graduate degree, you
need to apply to a
program of study as a degree-
seeking
student.
B. If you are
interested in taking courses for recertification or
professional development and never intend to apply those
courses to a degree, you can apply for admission as a
non-degree seeking student.
In some cases,
you may be interested in professional development and have the
opportunity to take a course at the undergraduate level. You
would need to be admitted to the Undergraduate
School of the University.
Students
cannot register for any course at any level until they have
been admitted to the Graduate
School or the Undergraduate School.
